What lifestyle do you want to live? Usually the degree of strength and health (i.e. fitness) of a body can be tied directly to the type and amount of work it consistently performs. Being healthy means a positive balance of body, mind and soul, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Regular exercise can burn your stored up fats, it can also increase your metabolism so that your body can burn fat faster even as you consume it. Thirty minutes of exercise on a daily basis can bring a lot of benefits to your body.\n\nPeople who are overweight are at a higher risk for health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and cancer to name a few. Health, fitness, and weight loss are not concepts that you have to live and breathe or not at all. Participants can print out their workouts, which consist of a picture of each exercises start and finish positions, written directions on how to perform each exercise and the correct order to perform each one are all provided.\n\nLast year the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) released a Roundtable Consensus Statement, which provided evidence for women and their health care providers supporting the safety of exercise and physical activity during pregnancy and the postpartum period.\n\nExercise can assist women to lower cholesterol and minimize body fat, help decrease the risk of stroke, cancer and heart attacks. You don’t have the expert Personal Trainer or Boot Camp Guru at hand but group exercise instructors still have good knowledge and can certainly assist you with your exercise goals.\n\nAt your gym, speak to fellow gym members and ask somebody if they would be interested in training with you. I strongly believe that a fitness program that works on all aspects of your fitness (such as strength, balance, flexibility, co-ordination, breathing and cardio) can only be beneficial for you.
